Here is the finished Original Watercolour Painting titled 'Close Up'. This intense and detailed image is a riot of subtle shades of colour created by Frederick using Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolours on a 15" x 11" sheet of Two Rivers cotton and linen Handmade Paper. Two Rivers is one of the few paper mills left in England and they specialise in creating handmade papers for artists, including reproducing vintage art papers that were used by artists such as Turner.

Frederick has painted this beautiful image right up to the deckled edge of the paper. This means that the Painting could be 'float framed', thus showing the deckle edge OR the Painting could be framed with a mount to cover the deckle and thus present a straight edge to the image. Tastes vary when framing, so the choice would be yours if this Painting was in your collection!
